English:
I’m sorry for calling you out even though there’s a typhoon outside
I just wanted to tell you “I like you”

I suddenly received a text from you
and my heart pounded in anticipation

Today’s my only chance to confess;
I sneaked out of my house

There was a heavy storm when I arrived at the station
and the trains were all cancelled

It seemed like neither text nor telephone would work
so I ran off into the rain

My umbrella was swept away in the rain
The promised place is far away
Please,
my beloved person
Go home already

I’m sorry for calling you out even though there’s a typhoon outside
I just wanted to tell you “I like you”
I reread your text and a drop falls from my eye
I didn’t know that you were in this maze as well

(I sent so many letters, but received no response from you.)
(Instead, a letter from your mother came.)
(“Don’t send any more,” it said.)

I found the letters from you that my mother had been hiding
They were love letters written in the style of light novels
   that wouldn’t reach you

(By chance, I found many letters from you
   in my mother’s room)
(Mother had always been hiding them.)
(I ran off to the station in order to meet my beloved person.)

I jumped aboard the last train,
even though I had vowed to say goodbye
Even if it’s in the dark, even if it’s painful, I want to be by your side

Even though there’s a typhoon outside,
even though if my wish can’t be granted,
I’m sorry for coming to see you,
I’m sorry for falling in love with you
Just “I like you”, just “I like you” was all I wanted to say
“I lost my memory because of the surgery,” I,
for my sake, you, told a lie
Even though yesterday as well, I thought of you and I cried

(“The fact that the after-effects of surgery made you forget
   was a lie…”)

(“Sorry… But it’s true.”)
(“Alright then. In that case, let me introduce myself!
My name is Amase Ameri and I’m in the second year, class two of Arashigaoka High School! I’m in the same club as Amamiya-kun, the light novel research club!”)

(“H-hey… There are people here…”)
(“I really like the light novels that Amamiya-kun writes! Also…”)
(“Stop it already!”)
(“Ever since a long time ago, I’ve liked Amamiya-kun!”)
(“…Me too… Ever since a long, long time ago, I’ve liked Amase-san! There’s no way I could forget about you!! I like you so much, there’s no way I could forget about you!!!”)

Lies, distance, wounds, first love
In the hospital lobby, among a crowd of people
We said “I like you!” Our eyes met
I will, I will be in your eyes forever

I’m sorry for hurting you even though I love you
Hidden under the bed sheets in the hospital room
We talked all night until we were illuminated by the morning sun

(“Look! The eye of the typhoon! It’s the eye of the typhoon!”)
(“Yeah! Let’s go see it! To the rooftop!”)

We embraced each other, you were like the blue sky,
your tears turned into the sun for an instant
If you said “I love you,” stretched out your hand,
and brushed my cheeks, it would disappear
It started raining again; reluctantly, our voices melted into the rain
The words “Until we meet again…” pounded in my chest

The two of us in the storm, [even though there’s a typhoon outside,]
continued to shout, [I’m sorry for calling you out]
“I like you!” [“I like you!”] “I like you!” [“I like you!”]
“I like you!” [“I like you!”]
Because we won’t forget, [I still continue to dream,]
about when we kissed for the first time
And the eternity of those few seconds!

(I read the light novel that you wrote. Its title is…)
(‘I’m Sorry for Calling You Out Even Though There’s a Typhoon
   Outside’)

*A lot of the lines were really long and couldn’t fit side by side, so I had to format the lyrics quite a bit. The lines with indents indicate a continuation of the last line that I cut off into the next line since it wouldn’t fit.

**Parenthesis = speaking lines.
This song has parts where there are talking and singing going on at the same time. I kept everything in stanzas so it is easier to follow the dialogue but harder to know what is being sung as certain lines are said. When a speaking and singing are overlapping, the stanza with the speaking lines is written first.
