English:
(To each and every lonely person watching this video
Let me explain! This is a story of the sad parting
of a boy and a girl
Check it out!)

On the train platform, while you look down
You make the can of milk tea slosh around
That’s right, even though there are so many things I want to say
For some reason, I’m at a loss for words

(Please, Please say anything)
Only the cold winter wind speaks, as if it’s a common language
(Please, Please show me your smile Uh…)
The dreary things are crammed into my coat pocket

Unless it’s in my dreams, I can’t meet you this Christmas
Maria and even Ramanujan aren’t able to heal me

“The train has arrived”

What, it’s already that time!?
The landscape before us was blocked
What said our farewells wasn’t a fragment of our mood
But the air pressure sound of the door

You simply boarded
And sadly said “Take care”
My breath caught in my throat at the last moment
Even though I only wanted to say “Wo ai ni”**

Hey, wait, wait a second
I’ll say it properly. I’ll announce it clearly
Of course I’ll say it properly in Japanese!

I chewed my cracked lips
And stood on my tiptoes with all my strength
All last, farewell, that was all the love
I had to give you

I beg of you, please don’t cry, I can’t stand it also
Infectious crying is too embarrassing in a place like this

The place you were standing until now and the surrounding landscape
Like a badly-drawn watercolor painting, it runs and blurs

Unless it’s in my dreams, I can’t meet you this Christmas
Maria and even Ramanujan aren’t able to heal me

*Note: Ramanujan is an Indian mathematician, you can see his wiki page [here]. I have no idea why he’s mentioned in this song… (unless it’s a different Ramanujan or maybe some reference I’m not getting?)
As for Maria, since it’s such a common name, I have absolutely no clue who specifically the song is referring to…

**Note: “Wo ai ni” means “I love you” in Chinese
